What is changing in the new Cisco 360 partner program?
The new Cisco 360 partner program is designed with and for partners and offers several key improvements. Among other things, the Select, Premier, and Gold partner certifications will disappear. These will be replaced by the Cisco Partner and Cisco Preferred Partner status. You can become a Cisco Partner or Cisco Preferred Partner in one of the following six portfolios:
- Security
- Networking
- Collaboration
- Cloud & AI
- Observability
- Services
Metrics
From Cisco, four main metrics have been established: Foundational, Capabilities, Performance, and Engagement. Each metric can garner 10 points. For the Cisco Preferred Partner status, an average score of 7.5 points is required. High standards are particularly set for the Capabilities metric for the Cisco Preferred Partner status. Metrics also measure the Managed Services capabilities, certifications, and the growth of the TCV and ACV business. The score of partners is recorded in a Value index, which can be viewed in the PXP.
Partner Incentives
The Cisco Partner Incentive will encompass a large number of existing incentive programs, including VIP and CPSS. Achieving the Preferred Partner status is essential for these incentives as partners receive incentives based on the revenue generated over a period. Missing incentives can result in significant financial losses.

Partners have until 1 February 2026 to comply with the new requirements. Fast Lane can help ensure that your organization transitions to the new 360 partner program by 1 February 2026! This begins with a good explanation of the program, the way progress can be tracked, and setting out actions.
